Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Richmond Hill, Georgia

This per diem retail pharmacist position offers the opportunity to support a managed pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour from Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL. The role includes key responsibilities such as supervising pharmacy technicians and managing opening and closing duties within a well-supported team.

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location:

• Brunswick, GA

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow
• Provide excellent patient care and medication counseling
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for prescription processing
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia pharmacy license
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
• Prior experience opening and closing pharmacies and supervising technicians
• 340B program experience is highly preferred, but not required
• Comfort working with a robust pharmacy technician team
