A retail pharmacy professional is needed to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a managed pharmacy setting located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling with a focus on delivering high-quality pharmacy services to the community.

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday, 6/22: Brunswick, GA – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 6/24: Brunswick, GA – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, 6/25: Brunswick, GA – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, 6/26: Brunswick, GA – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, 6/29: Brunswick, GA – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional patient counseling and medication therapy management.
  • Support the pharmacy’s involvement with 340B program activities (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system to maintain accurate records and processing.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia pharmacist license.
  • Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise pharmacy staff.
  • Prior exposure to the 340B program is highly advantageous.
  • Comfort working with pharmacy technology platforms, especially Datascan by WinPharm.
