A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a permanent Pharmacist position located in Sterling, IL. This role operates Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and involves direct hire placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
• Verify prescribed medications ensuring compliance with facility procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
• Perform medication reconciliation when possible to support a seamless continuum of care for patients after discharge.
• Provide excellent customer service while focusing on clinical care and patient safety.
• Consult with patients about their medications, including dosage, frequency, specialized needs, and potential drug interactions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience in a similar retail setting.
