Retail Staff Pharmacist - Saint Paul, MN

This opportunity is for a Retail Staff Pharmacist role in a well-supported pharmacy located in Minnesota with a reputable regional grocery store. The role is structured as an ongoing contract-to-hire position, aiming to transition into a permanent pharmacist role. The pharmacy features a modern workflow, including a recently installed robotic system, and a strong team environment with pharmacy technician support.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with some flexibility available for relief coverage
• Monday is the busiest day, requiring comfort with higher prescription volume at the start of the week

Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription filling and verification in a retail setting averaging approximately 600 scripts weekly
• Utilize the EnterpriseRx order entry system, with training available if needed
• Provide patient counseling and ensure strong communication regarding medications and health concerns
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain accurate and efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Minnesota or willing to obtain licensure
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required
• Experience with EnterpriseRx preferred or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
• Comfortable handling a moderate to high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Strong patient counseling and communication skills
• Dependable, reliable, and open to permanent placement
