Retail Staff Pharmacist in Saint Paul, MN

A reputable regional grocery store in Minnesota is seeking a Retail Staff Pharmacist to join their well-supported pharmacy team. This role offers an ongoing contract position with a strong preference for temp-to-hire, aiming to secure a permanent pharmacist to provide high-quality patient care.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for relief coverage if needed
• Monday typically has the highest prescription volume, requiring comfort with busy starts to the week

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently fill approximately 600 prescriptions weekly
• Provide patient counseling and ensure strong communication to support medication adherence
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and utilize a recently installed robotic dispensing system
• Operate within an EnterpriseRx order entry system environment, with training available if needed
• Maintain adherence to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Retail pharmacy experience is required
• Experience with EnterpriseRx preferred or willingness to rapidly learn the system
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Minnesota Pharmacist License
• Strong patient communication and counseling skills
• Ability to thrive in a moderately high-volume retail setting
• Reliable, consistent, and interested in a long-term role within the pharmacy
