Retail Staff Pharmacist in Santa Fe, NM

This retail pharmacist position offers a dynamic role at a busy pharmacy processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily. The opportunity is located in Los Alamos, NM, with a contract-to-hire status. The role requires flexibility in shift start times, beginning at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy technicians and delivering exceptional customer service and patient counseling. The pharmacist will verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions, with no compounding duties required. The position utilizes the Pioneer pharmacy system.

Desired Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is advantageous
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
