Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Savannah, Georgia

Seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage at a managed retail pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with strong technician support, providing essential pharmacy services while ensuring excellent patient care.

Schedule of Coverage:

• Monday 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on prescriptions.
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for pharmacy management.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage 340B pharmacy program activities (preferred, but not mandatory).

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia pharmacist license.
• Previous retail or community pharmacy experience.
• Proven ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Experience with 340B program highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Datascan by WinPharm system is a strong advantage.
