Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Savannah, GA

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist experienced in retail/community pharmacy to provide per diem coverage at a managed pharmacy located approximately one hour south of Savannah, GA. This role supports pharmacy operations with scheduled shifts throughout late June.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians during opening and closing procedures
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Manage daily pharmacy workflow and maintain high-quality customer service standards
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Support 340B program activities, with prior experience considered a strong advantage
• Collaborate closely with a strong team of pharmacy technicians to optimize patient care

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia pharmacist license
• Demonstrated retail/community pharmacy experience, including supervising technicians
• Familiarity with opening and closing pharmacy operations
• Prior exposure to 340B programs highly preferred but not essential
• Skilled in using the Datascan by WinPharm system or equivalent pharmacy software
