Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Savannah, Georgia

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position supporting a managed retail pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling with shifts planned to provide critical coverage throughout late June.

Scheduled Shifts:

• Monday, 6/22: 8 AM – 6 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8 AM – 3 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8 AM – 6 PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations including opening and closing the pharmacy
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper use
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for pharmacy management
• Ensure compliance with legal, professional, and safety standards
• Apply knowledge of pharmacy regulations, including 340B program (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff and pharmacy operations
• Prior experience with the 340B program is highly preferred, though not mandatory
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, particularly Datascan by WinPharm, is a plus
