A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Yakima, WA, offering a chance to utilize your pharmacy expertise in a retail setting. This role focuses on accurate distribution of medications prescribed by healthcare professionals and delivering outstanding customer service to support patient health and safety.

Location:

  • Yakima, Washington

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, April 20-24, 2026
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients as directed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
  • Provide clear, detailed information to customers regarding proper medication use, precautions, and potential side effects
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with pharmacy regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products

Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Washington is required
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred; long-term care experience is a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
