A community-focused retail pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to provide high-quality medication dispensing and patient care. This opportunity offers two days of training to help you get acquainted with the pharmacy’s workflow and software.

Schedule:

• Training Dates: 6/25, 6/26
• Shift Dates: 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2
• Hours: 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions, maintaining patient safety
• Manage a high volume of e-scripts (approximately 275 prescriptions daily)
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety guidelines
• Ensure proper non-sterile compounding practices
• Administer immunizations when required
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for effective therapy management
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and optimize workflow
• Maintain inventory, including managing recalls and stock levels
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements
• Deliver excellent customer service within the store, drive-thru, and delivery operations

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Willingness to learn and use Computer RX software (training provided)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
