Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Spring Branch, Texas

Per Diem opportunity available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide support at a community-focused retail pharmacy. This role offers the chance to work in a locally owned setting with a collaborative team dedicated to excellent patient care. Two days of training will be provided to familiarize you with the pharmacy systems and procedures.

Location:

• Spring Branch, TX area (specific address provided upon placement)

Schedule:

• Training: June 25 & 26
• Shifts: June 29, 30, July 1 & 2
• Hours: 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
• Manage a high volume of electronic prescriptions (10+ orders per page)
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and safety protocols
• Verify non-sterile compounding practices
• Administer immunizations as needed (minimal)
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for therapy management
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee workflow efficiency
• Manage inventory, including handling recalls
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Support drive-thru and delivery operations

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Ability to quickly learn Computer RX software (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
