Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Tucson, AZ

Provide expert pharmacy care as a valued per diem pharmacist supporting multiple retail locations within Tucson, AZ. This opportunity involves joining a skilled team serving in a food-and-pharmacy setting across seven pharmacies, where adaptability and readiness are essential. Ideal candidates will be part of a 2-3 pharmacist team prepared to step in for call-outs, vacations, or peak prescription volume days, contributing 2-4 shifts weekly as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise and efficient pharmaceutical services, ensuring quality patient care.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members to maintain smooth operations.
• Manage prescription processing using QS1 pharmacy software.
• Participate in an 8-hour training session with options for additional training to ensure consistent service quality.
• Uphold immunization standards and maintain current BLS certification.
• Flexibly cover shifts, typically Monday through Saturday within pharmacy hours of 10 AM to 7 PM (some locations extend to 8 PM).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Immunization privileges and current BLS card required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently, especially at pharmacist-only sites.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is preferred.
