This per diem opportunity offers the chance to provide vital pharmacy services across several community-focused retail locations in the Tucson, AZ area. You will be an essential part of a new 2-3 pharmacist team supporting a network of food and pharmacy stores that serve local residents with quality care and trusted healthcare products.

Locations include multiple pharmacies throughout Tucson, each with their unique community, where you will contribute your retail pharmacy expertise. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday, typically 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m. While specific shifts cannot be guaranteed, you will be available to cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes, ideally working 2-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate dispensing and patient counseling in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Complete training on QS1 software system and participate in ongoing education
  • Maintain compliance with immunization protocols and emergency response standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience highly preferred
  • Immunization privilege and current BLS certification required
  • Ability to work independently at pharmacist-only sites, where technician support is limited
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to excellent patient care

Training is provided, including an initial 8-hour training shift and additional education as needed to ensure your success in this role.
