Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Tucson, AZ

Providing essential pharmacy care across multiple retail locations in Tucson, AZ, this per diem pharmacist role supports a well-established food and pharmacy setting. The team you join will cover a network of community pharmacies, assisting during call-outs, vacations, and volume surges. Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in high-volume retail pharmacies averaging 100-125 prescriptions daily
• Collaborating with pharmacy technicians and managing pharmacist-only sites when necessary
• Providing patient counseling, medication therapy management, and immunizations
• Utilizing QS1 pharmacy software proficiently
• Participating in an initial 8-hour training session with additional training as needed
• Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety guidelines

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Active immunization privilege and current BLS certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and handle multiple pharmacy sites
• Willingness to cover flexible shifts Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m.
