Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Tucson, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions in retail pharmacy settings.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage patient consultations, medication therapy reviews, and immunizations.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Complete training on QS1 pharmacy software to ensure proficiency.
• Participate in one dedicated 8-hour training shift, with additional training available as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with immunization privileges and a current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in retail pharmacy environments.
• Comfortable working independently, especially at pharmacist-only sites.
• Ability to manage an average daily prescription volume of 100-125.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• Pharmacy hours typically Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m.
