Travel Retail Staff Pharmacist in Ukiah, CA

Seeking a skilled pharmacist to fill a travel position in an outpatient/retail pharmacy located in Ukiah, CA. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a 340B pharmacy setting, where prior experience with 340B programs is highly beneficial.

The role requires a California pharmacist license and at least one year of outpatient or retail pharmacy experience. Full-time availability is essential to meet the demands of this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently to outpatient and retail customers
• Managing prescription verification and processing with attention to detail
• Providing excellent patient counseling and education on medication use
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and pharmacy policies
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and staff to promote optimal patient care

Schedule and contract details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year of outpatient or retail pharmacy experience
• Experience working in a 340B pharmacy program (highly preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
