Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist within a dynamic retail pharmacy environment serving the Tucson area. You'll join a dedicated per diem team trusted to maintain seamless pharmacy operations across multiple locations, covering call-outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards
  • Deliver exceptional patient counseling and education on medication use
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain accurate records using QS1 pharmacy software
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and uphold professional standards at pharmacist-only sites
  • Participate in required training sessions to ensure consistent service quality and regulatory compliance
  • Provide immunizations and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
  • Current immunization privileges
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Proficient in using QS1 pharmacy software or ability to quickly adapt
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

  • Pharmacy operational hours are Monday through Saturday, typically from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with some locations open until 8:00 p.m.
  • Flexibility for part-time per diem shifts approximately 2-4 days per week
  • Availability to cover various shifts on short notice, supporting a team of 2-3 pharmacists
