A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a licensed California professional to provide dedicated night shift coverage at a community hospital pharmacy. This role supports a 250-bed hospital with an attached outpatient retail pharmacy, offering critical pharmaceutical services during overnight hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing all pharmacy operations independently overnight (one pharmacist plus one technician)
• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently according to retail pharmacy standards
• Utilizing PioneerRX pharmacy software daily; EPIC experience is a plus
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
• Collaborating with healthcare staff remotely for patient care needs as necessary

Ideal candidates will have:

• An active California pharmacy license
• Retail pharmacy experience, especially in hospital outpatient or community pharmacy settings
• Proven proficiency with PioneerRX software
• Availability for full-time night shifts within a 7-on, 7-off schedule (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Flexibility to start immediately for a 13-week engagement
