This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in a retail pharmacy setting located in Westerville, OH. The role offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement, with a Monday through Friday day shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This environment handles an average of 200 to 300 inbound prescriptions daily and includes a team of five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists.
Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, managing pharmacy operations, and collaborating with staff to ensure excellent customer service. Experience using Prime RX for order entry will be advantageous to support efficient workflow.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Proven retail pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with Prime RX is a plus
- Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license required
