Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Westerville, Ohio

This opportunity is perfect for a licensed pharmacist experienced in retail pharmacy who is looking to work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The position is contract to hire with a 13-week assignment, offering the chance to transition to a direct hire role.

Located in Westerville, OH, this role operates within a retail pharmacy environment managing an average daily inbound prescription volume of 200 to 300 scripts. The team consists of five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists, fostering a collaborative and supportive work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Oversee prescription verification and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
• Use Prime RX software for prescription order entry and record-keeping.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacy License in the state of Ohio.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with Prime RX is preferred.
• Ohio pharmacy technician license is required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
