This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working within a retail pharmacy setting that handles an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day. You will collaborate closely with a team of five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists, supporting efficient pharmacy operations using Prime RX order entry software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, dispense, and counsel patients on medications in a retail setting
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and protocols
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and high-quality customer service
  • Utilize Prime RX software for prescription processing and order entry
  • Maintain proper documentation and inventory control

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Ohio
  • Retail pharmacy experience required
  • Experience with Prime RX software is desirable
  • Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license is required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a busy prescription volume efficiently

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 13-week contract to hire assignment

Work Environment:

  • Retail pharmacy setting with a team-focused atmosphere
  • Average inbound prescriptions: 200-300 per day
  • Staff comprised of 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists
