A retail pharmacist position is available at a busy pharmacy in White Rock, NM, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role requires providing excellent patient care and managing daily pharmacy operations in a high-volume setting.
Location: White Rock, NM
Shift: Day shift with flexible start times at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)
System: Pioneer
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide patient counseling
- Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
- Manage a busily staffed pharmacy processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
- Experience in non-sterile compounding verification is preferred
- Background in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting is advantageous
- Open to new graduates ready to grow in a dynamic environment
