Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - White Rock, New Mexico

This opportunity is for a Retail Pharmacist role in White Rock, NM, with a contract-to-hire status. The position involves working day shifts in a busy retail pharmacy setting that processes approximately 600 prescriptions daily. Candidates should be prepared for a flexible start time of either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide patient counseling
• Verify non-sterile USP 800 compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding required)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License is required
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Background in high-volume pharmacy settings is advantageous
