Retail Staff Pharmacist in Wilmington, DE

A clinical pharmacist is needed to support inpatient and outpatient services in a hybrid role focused on maintaining medication operations and dispensing duties. This position offers a contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent status.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations to ensure medication needs are met for automated dispensing cabinets at two hospital sites.
• Initiate daily cartfill activities to maintain medication availability.
• Float to the retail pharmacy to perform dispensing responsibilities as needed.
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Delaware pharmacist license required (must have license in hand).
• Pharm.D. preferred; B.S. Pharm. with equivalent clinical experience accepted.
• Proven clinical pharmacy skills with the ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy functions.
• Experience with Cerner and Omnicell strongly desired.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a hybrid role covering inpatient and retail pharmacy areas.
