Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Winamac, Indiana

Join a respected community pharmacy in Winamac, IN, seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide expert retail pharmacy services on a contract basis. This role supports filling prescriptions, verifying technician-prepared medications, and ensuring the security and accuracy of pharmacy operations.

Location: Winamac, Indiana

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations
• Enter orders and patient information into the system with precision
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license required
• Strong retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Local candidates only

Additional Details:

• Three days of training and orientation required prior to starting
• Business casual dress code
• Contract position starting June 29, continuing until a permanent pharmacist is hired
