Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Winamac, Indiana

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a licensed pharmacist in a retail community pharmacy setting, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications. This position offers the opportunity to serve the local community while working in a supportive and structured environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify technician-prepared prescriptions before release.
• Maintain strict security protocols for pharmacy operations and controlled substances.
• Enter patient information and medication orders accurately using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred).
• Support daily retail pharmacy operations and contribute to excellent patient care.
• Participate in 3 days of training and orientation prior to starting the role.

Qualifications:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license required.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team.
• Local candidates only.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week).
• Every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Location:

• Retail community pharmacy located in Winamac, Indiana.
• Business casual dress code.
