Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for a skilled Infusion Pharmacist to provide expert support in a dynamic pharmacy setting in Greensboro, NC. This contract assignment addresses immediate staffing needs with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role, emphasizing advanced infusion practices. Retail Pharmacists may be considered for contract work during the search for an infusion specialist.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies, overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, and ensuring compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards. The pharmacist will also offer clinical support and drug information, collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation with regulatory adherence.

Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy settings
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding practices
