Staff Pharmacist in Reynoldsburg, OH

Two Staff Pharmacist positions are available in a well-established inpatient hospital setting located in Reynoldsburg, OH, on a contract basis from 05/26/2026 to 08/14/2026. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a supportive environment serving a facility with 222 licensed beds and an average daily census of 120 patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide thorough verification and oversight of sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding processes
• Participate in hospital codes and support emergency care teams
• Collaborate with nursing and provider staff to ensure optimal medication management and dispensing
• Deliver patient education related to medication usage when necessary
• Work alongside pharmacy technicians who prepare and deliver medications, supporting overall pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist License is required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, including proficiency in Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) verification
• Skilled in pharmacotherapy, antibiotic and renal dosing adjustments
• Experience overseeing compounding and handling codes in a hospital setting
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records (training available)
• Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Coverage required every 6th weekend
