Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer

Work Hours: Two shifts available — Day Shift, Monday through Friday or 7 on 7 off Night Shift
Industry: Healthcare / Hospital Pharmacy

Responsibilities

-Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including monitoring, evaluation, and assurance of quality medication use
-Perform drug utilization review and clinical monitoring across hospital units
-Provide accurate and timely drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
-Oversee the distribution and control of drugs and other pharmaceutical products throughout the facility
-Deliver additional patient services as requested by the healthcare team
-Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established pharmacy policies, procedures, and guidelines
-Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and hospital standards

Experience

-Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
-Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience strongly preferred
-Comfortable working independently in a hospital pharmacy environment

Skills

-Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
-Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
-Adaptable and reliable across both day and night shift schedules
-Patient-focused with a commitment to quality medication use and safety

Qualifications

-Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required

Education

-Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education-accredited college of pharmacy required
