A well-established 80-bed community hospital located a few hours from the Los Angeles area is seeking a licensed pharmacist with inpatient experience to support their pharmacy team. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in dynamic hospital settings and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring accurate dispensing and medication safety
  • Handle medication order verification, preparation, and distribution within the hospital
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support on-call pharmacy duties on days scheduled to work, as needed
  • Utilize Paragon pharmacy information system; experience with Paragon is a strong plus

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active California pharmacist license required
  • Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Paragon pharmacy software is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to varied scheduling requirements

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable days and afternoons
  • Possibility to transition to a 7 days on/7 days off day shift rotation, if desired
