An established long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy in Rocky Hill, CT, is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on accurate prescription verification and volume-driven pharmacy operations.

Location: Rocky Hill, CT
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility to work both shifts required)
  • Occasional Saturdays may be needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV2 tasks, including prescription checking and verification
  • Opportunity to train for PV1 responsibilities based on aptitude
  • Manage high-volume prescription processing efficiently
  • Utilize Frameworks pharmacy system for daily operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut pharmacist license (required)
  • Previous long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred; retail pharmacists with strong volume-handling skills are also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to adapt and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
  • Must provide an updated resume, skills checklist, one Pharmacy Manager reference, and a copy of CT license for consideration
