Staff Pharmacist in Roseville, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as a working Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital. This role offers hands-on experience in a hospital setting, leading pharmacy operations while actively participating in daily dispensing and clinical activities.

Location:

• Roseville, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
• Shared on-call responsibilities with PRN pharmacists after hours

Contract Details:

• Immediate start
• 13-week assignment with potential to transition to a permanent role

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to meet patient needs in a rehab hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation after hours to provide pharmacy support as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within inpatient care
• Strong leadership qualities and a willingness to take on the PIC role
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, positive attitude
