Seeking Per Diem Pharmacists in California – Retail Pharmacy Opportunities

We are currently looking for qualified per diem pharmacists to provide flexible coverage across several California locations. This role offers the opportunity to support retail pharmacy operations on an as-needed basis, typically covering 1-2 shifts per week in these key areas:

• Sacramento: 3-4 Pharmacists needed
• Bay Area/North Bay: 2 Pharmacists needed
• Northern CA (Redding, Chico): 2 Pharmacists needed

Responsibilities include opening and closing the pharmacy, overseeing the pharmacy technician team, and delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates must be comfortable commuting within these regions and flexible to work per diem shifts.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Experience managing technician staff and pharmacy opening/closing procedures
• Current immunization certification required
• Familiarity with McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software preferred
• Ability to travel and commute efficiently within assigned regions
