Staff Pharmacist in Saint Charles, MO

A healthcare facility in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide inpatient and behavioral health pharmacy coverage on a contract basis. This role is essential for ensuring safe and efficient medication management during specified dates in early August.

Position Details:

• Location: Saint Charles, MO
• Setting: Inpatient / Behavioral Health
• Assignment Dates: August 6, 7, 10 through 14
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in an inpatient and behavioral health environment.
• Manage automated medication dispensing systems, including Omnicell.
• Perform repackaging duties using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems as applicable.
• Conduct restock reporting and loading of drugs into automated machines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain compliance and ensure patient safety.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience working with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.
• Familiarity with medication repackaging processes (Milt/Medi-dose or HCL).
• Basic knowledge of replenishing stock and operating automated drug machines.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
