Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in San Francisco, CA

A staffing opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage at various retail pharmacy locations across California. This role is perfect for those seeking flexible, part-time work with the ability to choose shifts based on their availability.

Locations in need of pharmacists include:

• Sacramento (3-4 openings)
• Bay Area/North Bay (2 openings)
• Northern California, including Redding and Chico (2 openings)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Provide excellent patient care including dispensing medications and immunization services
• Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing and record keeping
• Be available to cover 1-2 shifts per week on average, with flexible scheduling based on business needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification required
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems, preferably McKesson’s ERx
• Ability and willingness to commute within assigned regions; mileage reimbursement available for travels exceeding 30 miles one way
• Ideal candidates are currently working part-time and seeking additional shift opportunities
