Retail Pharmacist in Sanger, CA

An excellent opportunity is available for experienced retail pharmacists to join a proficient per diem float team supporting multiple well-managed pharmacy locations in communities near Fresno, CA. This contract role offers frequent shift coverage across a network of pharmacies including Sanger, Fresno, and surrounding areas, with a growing presence anticipated in 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medium to high-volume prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilizing pharmacy software (Rx30) to process and monitor prescriptions.
• Collaborating closely with experienced pharmacy technicians who provide essential support.
• Commuting regularly within a 30-40 minute radius of Fresno to cover smaller community pharmacies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency in managing prescription volumes in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software is required.
• Spanish speaking candidates are strongly preferred, though not mandatory due to Spanish-speaking tech staff.
• Valid California pharmacist license.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute among multiple pharmacy sites.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday shifts.
• Coverage required at least 3-4 times per week, totaling approximately 20+ shifts per month.

Location:

• Primary sites include Fresno, Parlier, Reedley, Sanger, Selma, Kerman, Orange Cove, and Madera.
• Additional sites with mileage reimbursement include Huron, Earlimart, and Mendota.
