A retail pharmacist opportunity is available within a well-established network operating multiple pharmacy locations with additional expansions planned. This contract position offers the chance to join a dedicated float team managing medium to high volume prescriptions across several sites, supported by experienced pharmacy technicians and professional management.

Location:

  • Based primarily in and around Sanger, CA, with daily commutes up to 30-40 minutes to surrounding communities such as Fresno, Parlier, Reedley, Selma, Kerman, Orange Cove, and Madera.
  • Some sites offer mileage reimbursement for travel to Huron, Earlimart, and Mendota.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday with an excellent, consistent schedule.
  • 20+ shifts per month, averaging nearly full-time hours.
  • Frequency entails covering one of the 12 pharmacies 3-4 times per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail pharmacy operations with medium to high prescription volumes.
  • Provide expert drug dispensing, counseling, and patient care in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal service.
  • Utilize Rx30 pharmacy software efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months retail pharmacy experience.
  • Familiarity with managing a bustling pharmacy environment.
  • Spanish language skills are strongly preferred but not mandatory due to Spanish-speaking technician support.
  • Valid California pharmacist license.
  • Ability to commute to multiple locations within a reasonable travel radius.
