Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Hospital Contract

Soliant has an opening for an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist at a hospital in Seattle, Washington. This is an immediate start opportunity with a 16 week contract that has the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate. Employment Type: Temporary Contract, Temp to Hire Potential

Work Hours: Variable Day and Afternoon Shifts, 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Industry: Healthcare / Hospital Pharmacy

Responsibilities

  • Support inpatient pharmacy distribution functions in a fast paced hospital setting
  • Verify medication orders accurately using EPIC
  • Perform final product verification checks to ensure patient safety
  • Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to healthcare team members
  • Oversee and support pharmacy technician functions throughout the shift
  • Respond to Code Blue and emergency situations as needed

Experience

  • Hospital pharmacy experience required
  • Inpatient distribution experience strongly preferred
  • Code Blue or emergency response experience a plus

Skills

  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working variable day and afternoon shifts
  • Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
  • Calm and confident under pressure in emergency situations

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Pharmacist License required
  • Full time immediate availability required
  • Proficiency in EPIC and Pyxis required

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
