Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania

This opportunity calls for a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist available for a 4-week assignment in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, with potential to extend. The role offers a choice between two schedules: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or Monday, Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position supports a specialty pharmacy environment requiring expertise in Pioneer Rx software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and bill prescriptions accurately as they arrive each day.
• Perform post-verification (PVI) on all prescriptions billed during the shift.
• Support pharmacy technicians by organizing inventory and managing patient communications related to home delivery scheduling and medication dispensing.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards throughout daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license for the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Proven proficiency with Pioneer Rx system is mandatory.
• Previous specialty pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Choice of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., or Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
