Staff Pharmacist | Shelby, Montana

Join an opportunity as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting located in Cut Bank, Montana, for an immediate assignment spanning approximately eight weeks, with potential for extension. This position offers a focused role where you will serve as the sole pharmacist, managing a moderate daily prescription volume.

Schedule:

• 1st shift, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers
• Counsel and advise patients on prescribed medications and proper usage
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following established policies
• Maintain inventory, including controlled substances, and ensure proper record keeping
• Resolve patient issues and coordinate with third-party coverage providers

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Montana Pharmacist License
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience in a retail environment
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software is preferred

Working independently as the only pharmacist, you will have the autonomy to manage all aspects of pharmacy operations and patient care. The expected prescription volume is roughly 100 scripts per day, providing a balanced workflow.
