A dedicated pharmacist role is open for a per diem position within a clinic setting that serves as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations with a focus on delivering safe, effective medication management and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage retail pharmacy tasks including verifying and dispensing prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, conducting drug utilization reviews (DURs), and counseling patients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity of 340B and ADAP programs.
- Oversee point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and prescription documentation to maintain smooth operational flow.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system, manage telephone encounters, and apply standing orders as appropriate.
- Support pharmacy staff through training and assist in ongoing process improvements aligned with the clinic’s mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required.
- Valid Montana pharmacist license.
- Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential.
- Experience in FQHC settings and familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy system are preferred.
Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts).
- Position located in a clinic setting.
