Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Shepherdsville, Kentucky

An exciting per diem opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide critical support at a specialty HIV/AIDS pharmacy through the upcoming months. This role involves direct engagement in retail pharmacy operations with a focus on serving a unique patient population requiring specialized medication management.

Key Dates for Coverage:

• Wednesday, 5/13: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, 5/14: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 5/15: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Paid four-hour training may be scheduled prior to these dates to prepare you for success.

Location: Shepherdsville, KY

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions adhering to all regulatory standards
• Verify prescription accuracy and pharmaceutical appropriateness
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
• Support sick call coverage and flexible scheduling needs as they arise
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Kentucky pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with HIV/AIDS medications strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and supervisory skills
