A reputable behavioral health facility in Wichita, TX, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage, primarily supporting vacation and PTO schedules. This position operates in a closed-door pharmacy setting with minimal walk-in traffic, focusing on efficient, accurate dispensing and patient care.
Position Details:
- Role: Staff Pharmacist (Per Diem/PRN)
- Location: Wichita, TX
- Start Date: ASAP
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Prescription Volume: Approximately 300-400 scripts per day
- Software: Enterprise Rx (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions in a timely manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers within the behavioral hospital setting to ensure optimal medication management
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies
- Provide exceptional patient care in a mostly closed-door environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Recent experience as a Pharmacist, particularly in a clinical or hospital setting
- Resides locally or is available for PRN or part-time work in the area
- Willingness to learn and utilize Enterprise Rx software effectively
