Staff Pharmacist - Siasconset, Massachusetts

Seeking an experienced pharmacist to support outpatient/retail pharmacy operations at a hospital-affiliated location on Nantucket, MA. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to practice pharmacy in a scenic island community with strong patient-centered care.

Position Details:

• Location: Nantucket, MA (Siasconset area)
• Role: Staff Pharmacist covering a vacancy
• Type: Contract, approximately 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Start: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispensing medications and verifying prescriptions in an outpatient/retail setting
• Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to promote safe and effective medication use
• Providing excellent patient counseling and support
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies
• Managing inventory and ensuring proper documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Availability for full-time day shifts throughout the assignment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to adapt to a travel assignment and a community-based practice setting
