An opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to work on a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule in Sioux City, IA. This contract position offers an immediate start and a duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Schedule:

• Night shift, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize patient medication therapy
• Consult with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical guidance
• Support all pharmacy units, with a focus on patients in critical care units (CCU)

Required Experience and Skills:

• Licensed pharmacist with valid credentials
• Experience working with EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Prior experience or familiarity with CCU patient care is beneficial
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams
