Staff Pharmacist | Slaton, Texas

A pharmacy professional is needed for a night shift role at a children’s hospital. This six-month contract position begins immediately and offers a unique opportunity to work with pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. The schedule consists of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with hours from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. There is a potential transition to a day shift later in the assignment to cover a pharmacist on FMLA until January 13, 2027.

Key responsibilities include managing medication distribution and ensuring safe pharmaceutical care within an inpatient pediatric hospital environment, utilizing systems such as EPIC and Pyxis.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Texas pharmacist license
• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience with Pyxis automated medication dispensing
• Pediatric pharmacy experience is highly preferred
