Retail Staff Pharmacist in Solway, MN

An opening opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a retail and long-term care pharmacy setting. This role requires a licensed pharmacist who can effectively balance the demands of both retail prescription dispensing and long-term care pharmacy services. The position is a contract opportunity lasting 13+ weeks and is located in Bagley, Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in a retail pharmacy environment
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to long-term care residents
• Counsel patients on medication usage and health maintenance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Participate in immunization administration and other clinical services as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Minnesota pharmacist license
• PharmD degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification
• Immunization certification and CPR certification required
• Prior experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekends
• Location: Bagley, MN (31 Main Ave S)

• Contract duration of at least 13 weeks
• Support provided for hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement
