A per diem staffing opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists seeking flexible, part-time work in retail pharmacy settings across California. This role requires coverage in various locations including Sacramento (3-4 positions), Bay Area/North Bay (2 positions), and Northern California areas such as Redding and Chico (2 positions). Candidates should be prepared to commute to multiple store locations within these regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pharmacy functions including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and managing prescriptions.
• Open and close the pharmacy according to company protocols.
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide immunizations as part of patient care services.
• Utilize McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) software to manage pharmaceutical records and workflow effectively.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in California.
• Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Immunization certification is mandatory.
• Proficient in McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) or similar pharmacy management software.
• Availability to work an average of 1-2 shifts per week across various locations.
• Willingness to travel to and work in multiple retail store environments.

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible per diem shifts based on staffing needs.
• Average coverage requests of 1-2 shifts per week.
