Production Pharmacist

ASAP need for 2nd-shift pharmacists! 

This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a Monday–Friday schedule with a 13-week temp-to-perm path. Retail pharmacy experience is welcome, and no compounding experience is required.

Position Details

• Term: 13 weeks temp-to-perm
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Shift: 2nd shift
• Pay: $65/hour
• Software: LifeFile, PK Software

Responsibilities

• Manage prescription fulfillment while maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and legal requirements
• Perform thorough Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and document accurately in pharmacy systems
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members
• Monitor, receive, and manage pharmacy inventory
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injection
• Handle specialized medications, including refrigerated and bulk products
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume production environment

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist License required
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment
• Willingness to work the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday schedule
