Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable days and afternoons with some flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
  • Provide expert consultation to physicians on medication therapy and adjustments
  • Utilize pharmacy software including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis to manage inventory and dispensing
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes in a community hospital setting of approximately 150 beds

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
  • Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy system highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work full-time hours and adapt to variable schedules
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff
