Staff Pharmacist | State College, Pennsylvania

A hospital in State College, PA is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for a duration of 5 to 6 months or longer. This community hospital, with approximately 150 beds, offers a dynamic work environment where you can apply your clinical knowledge and pharmacy skills to positively impact patient care.

Schedule & Location:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts with some flexibility
• Located in State College, PA

Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Consulting with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize medication therapy
• Utilizing hospital IT systems including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Strong familiarity with Meditech is highly advantageous
• Full-time availability to provide consistent support across shifts
