Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Stratford, TX

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available to provide professional pharmacy services at a rural community health center. The role focuses on delivering personalized care to a primarily older patient population in a small community setting.

Location:

• Rural Community Health Center, Stratford, TX

Schedule & Hours:

• 1st Shift
• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Assignment Term:

• July 15th through July 31st

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling, emphasizing medication education and adherence
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow
• Operate within Liberty pharmacy system effectively
• Serve a patient base averaging 120-130 prescriptions daily

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
• Comfortable working with a mature patient demographic
