Support a rural community health center as a Per Diem Travel Pharmacist from July 15th to July 31st. This role offers the opportunity to serve a primarily senior patient population in a close-knit, small-town pharmacy environment.
Schedule:
- 1st shift: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekend hours
Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and managing two experienced pharmacy technicians using the Liberty system. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth pharmacy operations while caring for approximately 120-130 prescriptions daily.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Clear and active Texas pharmacist license is required
- Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate a small pharmacy team effectively
Work Environment:
- Small rural pharmacy catering mainly to patients over 50 years old
- Supportive staff with two skilled pharmacy technicians
- Script volume allowing meaningful patient interaction
