Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Stratford, TX

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available at a rural community health center serving primarily patients aged 50 and above. This role offers a focused, hands-on environment with a manageable prescription volume and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Location:

• Stratford, TX

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
• No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure safe dispensing
• Provide patient counseling with an emphasis on clear, supportive communication
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Work with Liberty pharmacy system in daily operations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license is mandatory
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to support patient interactions and team coordination

Additional Information:

• Prescription volume is approximately 120-130 scripts daily, allowing for quality patient care
• Two experienced pharmacy technicians support daily workflow
• Housing options available: furnished on-site trailer or arranged accommodation as preferred by the candidate
• Term of assignment: July 15th through July 31st
