Per Diem Pharmacist - Stratford, TX

Support patient health and medication management as a Staff Pharmacist at a rural community health center. This per diem role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing personalized care to a primarily older adult population in a close-knit setting.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Stratford, TX
• Term: July 15th – July 31st
• Schedule: • Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM • Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM • No weekend shifts
• Shifts: 1st shift
• Prescription volume: Approximately 120-130 scripts per day
• Pharmacy system: Liberty
• Support staff: Two experienced pharmacy technicians

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling to enhance medication understanding and adherence
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Contribute to a positive patient experience in a rural community setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license is required
• Prior community health center or retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
