A per diem opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support a rural community health center in Stratford, TX. This role offers a focused, patient-centered environment serving primarily patients over the age of 50. The assignment runs from July 15th through July 31st, providing a great chance to gain or apply community pharmacy experience in a close-knit setting with manageable daily prescription volumes.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1st shift
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekend hours
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use and understanding
- Manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow
- Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system effectively
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clear Texas pharmacist license
- Experience in community health or retail pharmacy highly preferred
- Ability to work well independently and within a small team
- Strong communication and patient care skills

- Prescription volume averages 120-130 scripts daily
