Staff Pharmacist - Sturgis, SD

A Retail Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13+ week contract assignment in South Dakota. This role involves working up to 40 hours per week in a pharmacy located inside a grocery store, providing essential pharmacy services to the community.

Location: South Dakota
Assignment Duration: 13+ week contract
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Up to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Review and validate pharmacy technician work
• Provide thorough patient counseling on medications and health needs
• Manage pharmacy and patient phone inquiries professionally
• Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations and workflow
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as required

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong verbal communication and patient-service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the pharmacy team
