Staff Pharmacist - Sun Prairie, WI

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment. This role offers a structured day shift schedule with the potential for contract extensions beyond the initial 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsels patients on proper usage alongside potential side effects
• Utilize the Pioneer RX system to process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and maintain a safe, organized workspace

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Wisconsin Pharmacy License is mandatory
• Proven pharmacy retail experience is required, showcasing the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with the Pioneer RX computer system is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and work with interdisciplinary teams

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Location: Sun Prairie, WI
• Contract length: 13 weeks with possible extensions
• Agreement signing required before start
