A travel pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment at a medical center located in Susanville, CA. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing vital pharmacy services to support patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Tuesday through Saturday
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
- Perform IV compounding with strict adherence to safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure effective medication management
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Support daily pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- California Pharmacy Technician License required
- Strong experience in intravenous (IV) compounding
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy setting
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for the duration of the assignment
