Staff Pharmacist - Susanville, CA

Provide professional pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist with expertise in both retail and hospital settings. This contract opportunity is located in Susanville, CA, supporting a well-established medical center over a 13-week assignment with a scheduled workweek from Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure proper preparation of prescriptions.
• Perform advanced intravenous (IV) compounding services following strict safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage inventory and documentation related to pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license valid in the state of California.
• Strong experience in intravenous (IV) compounding.
• Reliable communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
