A long-term contract pharmacist opportunity is available within a prominent hospital setting in Sylmar, CA, under the Los Angeles County Department of Health System (LACDHS). This role is ideal for pharmacists with a PGY1 residency or hospital experience seeking to contribute to a large, respected health system that includes numerous ambulatory care clinics and hospitals. Candidates with approximately two years of current inpatient experience will also be considered.
Location:
- Sylmar, CA (LACDHS hospital)
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Flexibility to work primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts required
Desired Qualifications:
- PGY1 residency preferred; candidates without PGY1 but with some hospital experience (including intern experience) will be considered
- Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience favored
- Ability to pass a competency exam (one attempt only)
- Successful Livescan background check clearance
- Commitment to long-term contract engagement
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting

- Participate in on-site interviews and onboarding processes
