A 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services. This role requires full-time availability, working a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems will be valuable in supporting efficient medication management and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inpatient medication distribution and dispensing
  • Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
  • Monitor medication inventory and perform necessary documentation in EPIC and Pyxis
  • Provide clinical support and education to nursing and medical staff as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Pharmacist license
  • Approximately one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis medication management systems
  • Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
